FAQ

What is included in an all-inclusive resort?
Not every all-inclusive resort is exactly the same but at most properties, like at Club Med, nearly everything on your vacation—your food and beverage, non-watersports activities, fitness classes and accommodations—are all included in your nightly rate. Usually, what is not included are water activities, spa treatments and any golf course/greens fees. Most all-inclusive resorts are located on or around some of the world’s most beautiful beaches, allowing you to soak up the sun and enjoy all of the natural beauty that surrounds you. You’ll find them throughout Mexico and the Caribbean especially. All-inclusive resorts are also well suited for large groups since they offer a variety of activities and amenities, from spectacular entertainment, kids’ clubs, multiple dining venues and so much more.
What kinds of hotels are best for families?
When it comes to choosing the right family-friendly hotel or resort, you should make sure that the property is equipped to take care of kids of any age. That often means having an on-site, supervised kid’s club or program, providing babysitting services, having cribs and rollaway beds easily available, and having kid-friendly dining options. With the help of your travel consultant, you can also find special properties that go beyond just being family-friendly and truly embrace families as guests. These might include resort condominiums, or hotel rooms with kitchens or kitchenettes, for example. You may even want to consider renting a villa for larger family groups. Wherever you decide to celebrate with your family, you can rest assured that with our help, they’re in good hands.
What types of amenities, facilities are available for special occasions at hotels and resorts?
Having the right amenities and facilities that you need for your special occasion—whether you are celebrating a wedding, birthday, or family reunion is crucial. When it comes to weddings for example, many hotels and resorts may have an on-site wedding planner or coordinator to assist you on location for your special day. They can also suggest caterers and other partners, including florists, bakeries and entertainment companies that you can personally work with to create your perfect wedding. For other special occasions, many hotels and resorts also have an on-site events manager who can help you craft the perfect celebration, from a sunset beach barbecue to a special spa day.
