Introduction

Tamuning (pop. 18,012) is an important shopping and dining area on the island with a number of hotels on Dungca's Beach and in the area called Upper Tumon. Many of these are bargain and business hotels away from the beach but close to the airport and shopping. Premium Outlets Mall has movie theaters and a large food court with good, local prices and some good shopping. It is adjacent to the main tourist center and a popular area for visitors to cruise, shop, dine and party. 2 mi/3 km northeast of Hagatna.
