Shete Boka National Park

Shete Boka National Park

Overview

Introduction

This name for Curacao's Shete Boka National Park comes from a Papiamento phrase that translates as "seven mouths"—a reference to its seven natural inlets.

Shete Boka showcases a spectacular cavern, Boka Tabla, carved into limestone cliffs on the north coast by millions of years of pounding surf. Steps lead down into the cavern, and a path on the bluff above takes you to the edge where you can watch the crashing waves. For hikers, there are trails along the bluffs.

It's always wise to lock your car, and don't leave anything valuable inside.
