Located north of Gustavia, Corossol is a tiny fishing village surrounded by green hills. The 300 residents speak an old Norman dialect, and a very few older women still wear provincial dress, including white sunbonnets called the quichenottes (kiss me not).
North of Corossol is Colombier, a residential area of enchantingly trimmed red-roofed cottages overlooking a sail-flecked bay.
