Land's End

Land's End

Overview

Introduction

The southern tip of the Baja Peninsula is Land's End, the place where the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez meet. Along the coast lie towering granite monoliths, including the most dramatic setting in Los Cabos—El Arco, a rock arch that has been carved by the waves. A boat trip past El Arco is one of the most popular excursions in the area: Be sure to take along plenty of film. Pelicans and seagulls flock around the cliffs and marinas at Land's End, and dolphins and sea lions can be seen frolicking in the Pacific and the Sea of Cortez.
