Rab Island

Rab Island

Overview

Introduction

Rab Island's central attraction, found 100 mi/160 km southwest of Zagreb, is the attractive Venetian town, also called Rab. Take the time to explore the city center with its 15th-century buildings, and be sure to climb the bell tower for a spectacular view of the sea. Four medieval church towers stand in a line along a cliff overlooking the Gulf of Kvarner.

A year-round car ferry links Rab Island's Misnjak to Jablanac, on the mainland.
