Mon's Klint

Mon's Klint

Overview

Introduction

Mon's Klint refers to the chalk-cliff formation on the east coast of the island of Mon, Denmark, 50 mi/75 km south of Copenhagen. The dazzling white cliffs form what some consider to be the most spectacular landscape in Denmark. Try to see them in the early morning when the colors are most stunning.

Also check out Fanefjord Kirke, Keldby Kirke and Elmelunde Kirke, three churches entirely painted with beautiful frescoes from the 15th century, depicting stories from the Bible. http://www.visitmoen.com.
