Overview

Introduction

Designated a historic district in 1977, this small town on the southeastern coast has a good beach and an atmosphere of peace and quiet. Visit St. Joseph Catholic Church and Inarajan Pool, a reef-protected area just south of town that's good for swimming and picnicking. About 3 mi/5 km north of town, at Gadao's Cave, there are Chamorro petroglyphs dating from 1500 BC. 18 mi/30 km south of Hagatna.
