Maku

Overview

Introduction

Maku is a small town in far-northwest Iran, near the border with Turkey and Mount Ararat. Set in a scenic narrow gorge, it is a pleasant place to stop if you're in the area. It's primarily seen when going overland to Turkey. 400 mi/645 km northeast of Tehran.
