Overview

Introduction

Near Guinea's border with Sierra Leone, Kissidougou has a small museum and a good daily market. The town is named for the Kissi people, who are traditionally rice farmers and animists. There are several nearby refugee camps and a large population of Sierra Leonean refugees in town. 250 mi/400 km east of Conakry.
