Introduction

Kurtey, Bhutan's best-known weaving region, is high in the mountains of eastern Bhutan and is accessible only by foot beyond Lhuntsi. The fabrics are beautiful, but if you don't have a strong interest in weaving (or walking), you may want to give it a pass.
