Galibi Reserve

Galibi Reserve

Overview

Introduction

The main reasons to go to Galibi Reserve, 85 mi/135 km east of Paramaribo, are to see the highly endangered Ridley sea turtles that nest there in June and July and to visit a Carib village in the reserve. To get there, you must arrange boat transportation from the nearby town of Albina, on the border with French Guiana.
