Keene

Overview

Introduction

The charming colonial town of Keene, New Hampshire, is nestled in the foothills of the White Mountains near Mount Monadnock.

Each October, Keene is home to what is called the world's largest pumpkin festival. At night, volunteers place candles in each of the town's more than 20,000 jack-o-lanterns, creating a postcard-worthy sight. http://www.pumpkinfestival.org.
