Overview

Introduction

Bonner Springs, 18 mi/29 km west of Kansas City, is the home of the National Agricultural Center and Hall of Fame, which displays artifacts and memorabilia depicting the triumphs and tragedies of rural life and the U.S. farmer (open mid-March through November).

And the Society for Creative Anachronism hosts a Renaissance festival from the first weekend of September to the last weekend of October. It features strolling musicians, multiple performance stages (including full-armored jousting) and theme-related crafts.
