Taroudant

Overview

Introduction

The small city of Taroudant, surrounded by red, gold, pink and orange walls, is a nice place to stop—particularly if you're traveling between Agadir and Ouarzazate. Its medina is easier to negotiate than the one in Marrakech, and it offers almost as much variety of street life. Shopping there is also good, especially for metalwork, Berber jewelry and carpets. Taroudant is 55 mi/85 east of Agadir.
