Overview

Introduction

Located near the village of Bourscheid, Luxembourg, in the Sure Valley, 25 mi/ 41 km north of Luxembourg City, are the partially restored ruins of 1,000-year-old Bourscheid Castle, which is one of the largest fortress complexes in the area. It commands impressive views over the surrounding countryside. Boating, horseback riding, fishing and hiking are some of the area's other attractions.
