Introduction

Located on the Yangtze River in the northeast area of the Hunan Province, Yueyang has long been a major center for transportation in China. Yueyang Tower, one of the Three Great Towers of China, overlooks the intersection of the Yangtze River with Lake Dongting. Climbing to the top of the tower offers a stunning view of one of China’s largest freshwater lakes.
