Introduction

This ski resort is beautifully situated in the Carpathian Mountains south of Brasov. The popularity of the place can be confirmed by the fact that the slopes reopened for business just a few days after the revolution. Breathtaking mountain scenery, quality hotels and skiing (through March and sometimes into April) attract skiers from all over Europe. 85 mi/140 km north of Bucharest.
