Makokou

Overview

Introduction

In the hilly northeastern portion of the country is Makokou, a major mining town (rich iron-ore deposits dot the area). There's not much for a visitor to do, except to enjoy the pretty countryside and perhaps visit a Pygmy village. 240 mi/385 km east of Libreville.
