Famed throughout the world for its porcelain and enamel, Limoges, France, is a picturesque medieval city 120 mi/195 km northeast of Bordeaux, surrounded by green, rolling countryside.

You can shop for porcelain and enamel in the shops along the Street of the Tanners. Visit the Town Museum and the Adrien Dubouche Museum, and note the bridges as you stroll through the old town.
