Klamath Falls

Klamath Falls

Overview

Introduction

Located 250 mi/400 km south of Portland, the Klamath Falls area provides lots of sunshine and hundreds of lakes and streams for hunting, fishing (including fly-fishing in local creeks), boating and waterskiing. From November to early spring the Lower Klamath National Wildlife Refuge is a great place to see migrating waterfowl and bald eagles.

Don't miss the grand old Baldwin Hotel, which has been restored and is now a museum. The Favell Museum of Western Art specializes in Native American works. Collier Memorial State Park, in nearby Chiloquin, has what's said to be the nation's largest museum of logging equipment.
