Introduction

If traveling nearby, stop for a few hours in this city 175 mi/282 km southeast of Minsk (pop. 527,000) to see the Rumiantsev Palace and the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul. There is a nice park in the city, with a tower in the center, which is worth ascending for its excellent view.
