Introduction

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan's largest city, is the business and science hub of the province, located 140 mi/225 km northwest of Regina.

The city offers visitors a wide range of opportunities, from its contemporary downtown's culinary scene to the natural beauty of the surrounding Canadian Prairies. Visitors can learn about the region's Indigenous cultures' more than 10,000 years of history through interactive experiences at Wanuskewin Heritage Park.

The Remai Modern art museum is a must-see. Other arts and cultural opportunities are well represented on the campus of the University of Saskatchewan.

Recreational opportunities also abound in and around the city, which sits along the South Saskatchewan River. The Meewasin Valley Trail provides ease of access to parks and hiking trails within the city limits.
