Seabourn: Seabourn Encore

Seabourn has officially debuted Seabourn Encore. This new ship is as strikingly beautiful and as excitingly innovative as any Seabourn has ever debuted. It will crown a fleet that is already the newest, most modern and most acclaimed in the ultra-luxury segment. Modeled on the award-winning trio of ships introduced with Seabourn Odyssey in 2009, Seabourn Encore represents another welcome stage in the evolution of small-ship cruising, which Seabourn pioneered and has consistently expanded and enriched.

To further advance its mission with Seabourn Encore, Seabourn enlisted the participation of master designer Adam D. Tihany. Although the architecture of Seabourn Encore is not radically different from Seabourn’s other three ships, Tihany’s vision is present throughout the ship. There is a new softness and a curvaceous elegance to his designs that reflect a noticeably bespoke aesthetic. The vessel exudes ultra-luxury with design elements often found in private yachts. Nautical visual elements are employed with an exceptional intelligence and sophistication. And, true to his vision, Tihany has enriched the entire ship with an impressive array of unexpected surprises and subtle transformations for guests to continually discover and delight in --- but those, as he so wisely says, are not meant to be described, but rather to be discovered.

Seabourn’s award-winning cuisine starts with the finest quality ingredients, infused with authentic regional flavors, prepared á la minute by our skilled chefs and served with pride.

Multiple dining options including The Grill is a unique culinary concept for Chef Keller, exclusive to Seabourn.

The Grill by Thomas Keller

Inspired by the classic American chophouse, The Grill focuses on updated versions of iconic dishes. Guests setting foot inside the elegant dining room will be treated to table-side preparations of Caesar salad and ice cream sundaes as well as a range of other steakhouse favorites like Lobster Thermidor and creamed spinach, presented a la carte. The timeless menu will draw on the freshest products from artisan purveyors. A cocktail program and wine list of domestic and old world labels complement the menu.

Activities

A day on a Seabourn ship offers delightful diversions for activity or relaxation. Greet the sun for an on-deck yoga stretch, or roll over and snooze until later. Run on a sea-view treadmill in the gym, or indulge in a massage at the spa. Attend a fascinating lecture, or lounge on your private veranda as you read the news with PressReader. Try the nine-hole putting course, or test your luck at the Casino. Visit the salon for a facial, take a dip in the pool, or you can even watch a first-run movie in bed (with popcorn).

Daytime Activities

Work out in your ship's well-equipped fitness center, with cardio and resistance equipment. Strengthen your core with complimentary Pilates and yoga classes, or book a private session with a personal trainer. Expand your horizons in our library, at a port lecture or at one of our many inspiring enrichment programs. Enjoy a complimentary Massage Moment^SM on deck. Many voyages feature our signature Caviar in the Surf^SM Beach Party or a Marina Day^SM, inviting you to enjoy complimentary watersports right from the back of your ship.

Nighttime Activities

Guests gather in our lounges for pre-dinner cocktails and canapés, sharing the day's adventures with each other. For some, this is their favorite part of the evening. Each night offers something new. Enjoy a sophisticated cabaret one night, or a game of Blackjack in the casino the next. You can dance the night away at The Club or enjoy listening to some piano music at the Observation Bar. Some of our signature events take advantage of the beautiful night sky, including Movies Under the Stars^SM, and dancing to live music at an Evening Under the Stars^SM.
