Portomarin


The new town of Portomarin is located on top of a hill, with old medieval palaces of the original Portomarin in the main square which were rescued after a flood. This medieval village was declared of cultural interest, and is a typical stop for pilgrims along the Camino de Santiago.

Palas de Rei is a small town in northwestern Spain located outside of Lugo. It is often visited by travelers and hikers on a religious pilgrimage on the Way of St. James (Camino de Santiago).
