Athenaeum Hotel & Residences London, England

116 Piccadilly
London, England  W1J 7BJ

Independent, award-winning and one of a kind, The Athenaeum retains its crown as London’s foremost family-run five-star hotel. Following a multi-million-pound refurbishment and with Michelin-starred chefs The Galvin Brothers at the culinary helm, this Art Deco building has entered an exciting era.

Located in the heart of Mayfair opposite the Royal Green Park there is a choice of 134 spacious rooms, many with views over Green Park; 12 elegant suites with generous open plan layouts; 18 private residences with separate sitting rooms and dining areas; a stunning penthouse suite with private balcony and 180-degree views of the city. Enjoy 24-hour In Room Dining, our 24 hour gym and our spa’s hot tubs, sauna and steam room.

Enter into the spectacular double storey lobby and lounge area with floor-to ceiling windows that give the impression of being in, rather than opposite, Green Park. This impressive space is peppered with elegant bespoke furniture and flooded with natural light, making it the perfect spot for Afternoon Tea, a coffee, or a place to simply relax and take in the views. Outside, the Terrace is one of the few outdoor dining areas on Piccadilly.

Situated between Oxford Street, Regent Street, Piccadilly and Park Lane, our central location makes it easy to discover London’s greatest attractions, best shopping areas and theatres of the West End. Buckingham Palace, the Royal Academy of Arts and Bond Street – to name a few – are all on our doorstep.

Galvin at The Athenaeum is the hotel’s restaurant from Michelin-starred London chefs Chris and Jeff Galvin. For the first time the brothers have stepped away from their trademark French-inspired menus in favour of championing Britain’s delicious homegrown produce and supporting independent farmers across the UK. Each menu has been developed by the acclaimed Galvin brothers, from breakfast to Afternoon Tea and all-day dining.
