Product Update

For those who adhere to gluten-free diets, dining outside the home can be a challenge. Options such as special cookies in the Main Lounge, gluten-free beer at the bar and even gluten-free pasta, bread, and pancakes are offered in addition to regionally-inspired main dishes and desserts that are also gluten-free. Guests simply need to inform their travel advisor at the time of booking, and the waitstaff will work with them to ensure their meals are prepared separately.

Itinerary Spotlight

Who doesn't have Africa on their bucket list? AmaWaterways' will feature two new sailings, a 14-night Stars of South Africa itinerary, beginning in Cape Town on November 15, 2019, and a 12-night Wildlife and the Falls departure, beginning in Johannesburg November 18, 2019. Both itineraries include a 4-night Chobe River wildlife cruise, two nights in Victoria Falls and three nights in the Tintswalo Safari Lodge set in Greater Kruger National Park.

For guests with mobility challenges, the new AmaMagna makes enjoying the scenery along the Danube River easier than before. A pop-up glass elevator offers access to the Sun Deck, allowing guests for whom stair climbing is difficult to access the pool, whirlpool and pop-up sky bar.
