Attard

Overview

Introduction

People travel 4 mi/7 km southwest from Valletta, Malta, to visit Attard so they can see the San Anton Gardens. First planted in the 17th century, they now contain a wide variety of flowers, shrubs and other plants. The San Anton Palace is the official residence of the president of Malta and is not open to the public.
