Overview

Introduction

Sani Pass is the only road in Lesotho's northern mountains that goes from Lesotho into South Africa. Only accessible by four-wheel-drive vehicle, it twists dramatically down into the uKhahlamba-Drakensberg Mountains, and the views from Lesotho at the top are inspiring. The Sani Top Chalet offers accommodation, and the glass-fronted pub there is the perfect place to admire the mountain views with a glass of mulled wine.
