Introduction

A major center of vodun, Glidji is especially worth visiting during the second week of September, when it holds the Guin Festival—four days of celebration with parades and street dancing. The residents are devout followers of their religion, and many large public fetishes adorn the town's streets. 3 mi/5 km east of Lome.
