Limfjord Country

Limfjord Country

Overview

Introduction

The Limfjord is the body of water that rather unequally divides Denmark's Jutland into two, about 140 mi/225 km northwest of Copenhagen. The long coastline, with its cliffs, beaches and calm waters, is popular with bathers and friendly seals. It is also an excellent place to go windsurfing or sailing because the water is shallow and the wind is strong without being overwhelming.
