Topanga

Topanga

Overview

Introduction

Covering 9,000 acres/3,642 hectares and located within eyeshot of the Pacific Ocean, the small town of Topanga, California, is a perfect retreat from the traffic jungle of LA for locals and travelers alike. Topanga Canyon contains both Topanga State Park and the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy. Topanga Canyon Boulevard (Highway 27), connects the western San Fernando Valley to the coast and the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH).

Once just an artists' haven, Topanga is now a popular respite for Angelenos looking for an afternoon away. If you happen to be visiting on a weekend, make plans to have a leisurely creek-side meal at the Inn of the Seventh Ray.
