Located close to the monasteries at Voronet and Humor in the hills of Bucovina, this town is a worthwhile overnight stop if you want to tour monasteries during the day. Its accommodations vary from cozy bed-and-breakfasts to three-star hotels. The restaurants there are also well-known for serving hearty and fresh Moldavian foods. Gura Humorului is 210 mi/342 km north of Bucharest.
