Overview

Introduction

Between Baghdad and Basra near the meeting of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, this is one of the many reputed locations of the Garden of Eden. Adam's Tree, in a park where the rivers meet, is supposed to mark the spot. Qurna is 40 mi/65 km northwest of Basra.
